In Traditional Chinese Medicine, our body's energy flows along certain pathways called meridians. This energetic network of meridians flow to keep our physical, emotional, and mental health in balance. When the body is out of balance, these pathways are not flowing properly and we can start to experience symptoms.
Acupuncture inserts small needles into precise locations in the body in order to instruct the body how to harmonize itself back to homeostasis for greater health and wellbeing.

Each acupuncture point sends a signal throughout the body to allow the body to regulate itself, and instigate the body’s natural healing response. Acupuncture is a holistic medicine, meaning it looks at the person as a whole and focuses on restoring the entire mind, body and soul, versus treating one-off, isolated symptoms.
Acupuncture works by supporting the body’s natural ability to regulate, repair, and restore balance. By calming the nervous system, improving circulation, and optimizing communication between the brain and body, acupuncture can support a wide variety of physical and emotional ailments.
